Where Flagstaff Finds Its Sound
A Place to Learn, Play, and Belong
From first notes to confident performances, music brings neighbors of every age together here in Flagstaff.
Music Education Rooted in Flagstaff
Flagstaff School of Music is a local community music school built around a simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to make music. At our school on East 7th Avenue, students of all ages can explore their interests through private lessons and performance opportunities. Whether someone is picking up an instrument for the first time or returning to a lifelong passion, we aim to make learning approachable, engaging, and part of everyday life in Flagstaff. Our instruction spans voice, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, woodwinds, brass, drums, percussion, and more, giving each student room to discover a path that feels like their own.
Growing Through Music, at Every Age
We believe progress sounds different for everyone. A young student finding a steady rhythm, a teen writing their own melody, and an adult trying something new all deserve patient instruction and encouragement. Our approach makes space for curiosity, creativity, and the confidence that comes from practicing and sharing music with others. By supporting each learner’s goals and celebrating every step forward, we help music become more than a lesson: it becomes a lasting way to express yourself and connect with the Flagstaff community.
